Association ARK AID (see arkaid.info) is a Christian gift giving facilitator and watchdog of charities involved in the alleviation of poverty and injustice among the most vulnerable and abject poor. This is done in three ways: 1. Appraisal; the evaluation and rating of 'Christian' charities (see a-aaa.com) 2. Awareness; providing facts and figures about giving (see a-aaa.net) 3. Assistance; direct aid facilitation (see a-aaa.org)

Ark Aid Appraisal rates Christian Aid organizations involved with poverty reduction in order to help doners make a balanced jugment in decisions about organization to which they might want to make a contribution. AAA (ARK AID Appraissal) is the The only independent watchdog organization in the World that critically analizes Christian aid organizations that have a purpose of aleviating poverty. ARK AID Foundation is: * a Christian organization dedicated to serving * in the context of extreme poverty * in such a way that a maximum benefit is derived from available resources. 1. Ark Aid Foundation is a Christian organization: Ark Aid is founded on biblical principals defined from a Reformed and Evangelical perspective. Ark Aid believes that such a foundation best guarantees sustained structural relief and improvement. Ark Aid believes that all of life must be infused with Christian values and that, therefore, aid may be directed to the improvement of all areas of life. Ark Aid only supports partners that are dedicated to the giving of an explicit Christian witness. All projects have the higher purpose of giving glory to God. Ark Aid aims to serve other partners by supplying a platform for the possibility of public awareness, free web space, tax benefits, etc. 2. Ark Aid Foundation gives support in the context of extreme poverty: Ark Aid believes that there ought to be a priority in the giving of aid were the need is the greatest; and that this be done with no regard to the recipients creed, race, colour, age, sex, political preference, or geographical situation. Ark Aid Foundation believes that good should be done to all men, but especially to those of the household of faith. (Gal. 6:10) 3. Ark Aid Foundation seeks to obtain the greatest benefit from resources for all concerned: This is done by: * guaranteeing that 100% of donations go to the cause for which they are given; Ark Aid adds 2% to all donations to cover bank costs. * guaranteeing satisfaction; if you are not satisfied with what has been done with your donation (within the first year) then Ark Aid will refund your donation (to a maximum of € 5000,-), no questions asked. * attempting to duplicate donations by way of government and non-governmental organizations so that 200% of donations go to the cause for which they are given; * advising partners of the possibilities and manner of duplication; * guaranteeing that there are no overhead costs deducted from donations (all such costs are carried by members of the board of trustees-all positions are voluntary and there are no costs for buildings, office equipment, etc.); * being very critical with regard to all partners that they share a similar purpose to that of Ark Aid Foundation. These partners are for the most part small organizations with little or no overhead. Ark Aid Foundation is a registered charitable organization which allows that all tax benefits for donations are applicable according to Dutch law.
